Set your total bet amount. Before you light that fuse, you need to set a total bet. Press the ‘Bet/Lines’ button to bring up your settings. Then use the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons to choose your bet-per-line and number of win lines. These values are multiplied together to determine your total bet. You can choose any bet-per-line from 2p up to £2 and play on up to 15 win lines. For example, bet 10p on all 15 lines for a total bet of £1.50. Check the paytable. You’re dealing with live explosives here, so do your homework! Press the menu button and select ‘Paytable’. The paytable tells you what each combination of symbols is worth. It’ll also tell you how many of each symbol you need for a win – either 2+ or 3+ depending on the symbol.
